A major police operation is underway in Sicily to strike a definitive blow against the Mafia. The suspects, whose capture could be useful in tracing the leaders of the organization, are seven 'killers' who are, however, hiding in the most unlikely places. On instructions from the mafia, they therefore start a march across the island to a ship that will take them abroad. But every day one of the seven members dies accidentally until, at the end of the journey, it becomes clear that the Mafia has betrayed them and prepared the only two survivors for a police ambush. At this point, Turi, the eldest, who had led the march across the island, escapes capture, kills two carabinieri and, despite the police search, manages to turn back and take his revenge on the occult leader of the organization...
